On the first of this month we got to share our #ZeroDebt message with a fantastic group of young people from the Forest Foundation, all of whom dedicated their summers working for Boston-based nonprofits. Not only did Bob get a chance to engage these folks with a presentation, we also got to hear from them about their experiences with student debt. It is students like Devon and Anastasia that inspire us to do the work that we do, and it is our responsibility to make sure their voices are heard.
Our student leaders love to get off campus and connect with one another on a bigger scale for our campaign. This month, some of our student leaders spent time at the Boston Public Garden, collecting signatures and engaging the community in conversations about student debt. It may have been hot outside, but it’s going to take more than a little heat to stop our team from working towards our goal of #ZeroDebt. We look forward to engaging more and more folks in this conversation, and we’ll continue doing so all across the city.
